I am passionate about working at the ASL Academy because I believe that every student has enormous potential and will impact innumerable lives. I am simply here to help them on their way.  Every student has insights I have not seen. Each student is the center of so many lives now and will be the center of many more lives later.  My goal is to help expand the students' worlds, lead them to new ideas and concepts as well as see the students challenged to do and achieve the most they can. The connections with the students here at the ASL Academy, and all the schools I have worked at, have changed me and made me a better person. I feel very privileged to work here and know your children.

Every day we are making a difference in the lives of our students and their families by “taking the next step” on our journey with them as they navigate the challenges and triumphs they are sure to face. I firmly believe that the bilingual, multicultural community that has been formed at the ASL Academy will positively impact not only the families and students of school, but the greater community as well.

I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the amazing things happening at ASLA. The work that is done here goes beyond anything I've ever seen. Being here as a teacher and a parent has impacted my family tremendously. I am passionate about working at ASLA because this is a place where I truly feel I am making a difference and I am committed to contributing to the improvement of educational outcomes for my students in alignment with the school's mission. The students and families bring a variety of needs and I am a better teacher and person because of the experiences I have had here. My colleagues and students both have been a huge source of encouragement and inspiration.

The ASL Academy is unique in so many ways.  Not only do they provide a small environment for students to learn but also meet the students where they are at in their language development.  The staff at ASLA are constantly learning and working to make every child successful.  This is what I love about ASLA.  Go Honey Badgers!

Since I have been working at the ASL Academy the students have taught me so many different things - ways of life, what's important and what's not so important, etc. I feel very blessed to be a part of this community.  I believe every student holds their own part of the education world and I am here to facilitate that. I can do this by being positive, motivating and holding high expectations for each of my students.
